Mohamed Salah Is Fit For Egypt’s Opener Against Uruguay

The Egyptian head coach Hector Cuper has declared that his team’s play-maker Mohamed Salah is fit and will play against Uruguay on Friday in their World Cup’s  opener.

Mohamed Salah who sustained a shoulder injury  in the Champions League final where his team lost to the Spanish giant Real Madrid 3 -1 last month .

It had been expected that the winger would be out of their first game at the World Cup in Russia. Apparently, He is back and ready to hit the pitch again.

Coach Hector claimed that Mohamed Salah is ‘almost 100% certain’ to feature against Uruguay in Yekaterinberg on Friday afternoon.

Salah is doing very well indeed, he’s recovered very quickly. We’ll see how it goes today. I can almost assure you 100% he will play, barring any unforeseen factors at the last moment,

the former Inter Milan coach told reporters on Thursday.

Salah has scored 33 goals for his country, with the remainder of the 23-man squad in Russia having only netted 33 times between them.
